Rescue. Sanctuary. Education.
Our Mission
The Red Riding Hood Rescue Project (RRHRP) is a USDA licensed, Federal Non-Profit Corporation that is dedicated to providing rescue, sanctuary, and lifetime support to wolfdogs in need, improving their lives with training and enrichment, and educating the public to encourage humane treatment and compassion. We believe that all animals are deserving of quality care in a safe and loving environment that offers physical and mental enrichment. Our goal is to help dispel the myths surrounding wolfdogs and wolves through community education and to inspire greater empathy and understanding for these often-misunderstood animals.
Our Vision
RRHRP envisions a world where wolfdogs are no longer misunderstood or feared, but respected through widespread public education on responsible ownership and ethical breeding. Until that day comes, we are committed to exceeding the highest standards in wolfdog sanctuary and rescue care. By modeling compassionate, responsible practices and educating the public, we strive to reduce the need for sanctuary to only emergency situations—creating a future where all wolfdogs can live safe, secure, and respected lives.
A View of The Red
